Doing Good
At the heart of our business are our CSR actions that ensure a positive contribution to the growth of East African Tourism without disturbing nature and upholding the essence of the rich cultural heritage of each country that we tour. We endevour to have local communities and conservation benefit from our involvement.
We work in partnership with our clients towards leaving a legacy and making a difference while we discover Africa
In conservation advocacy, we carry out tree planting in camps such as Sweet Waters Nanyuki, Kenya. We also run our own fundraising initiative, to raise money in support of endangered wildlife. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is one of the organizations that we support.
In an inventory conducted by Kenyan authorities and external groups concluded on 27 August, 2015 Kenyan authorities reported that government-held stockpiles were in possession of 25,052 pieces of ivory weighing 137,679 kg (303,530 pounds). A majority of these were elephant tusks recovered by affiliate agencies from poachers, traffickers, and raw and worked ivory shipments originating from inside and outside the country.
In pursuit of doing good, we support charities devoted to education like giving academic sponsorship to needy children in different parts of the country we visit.
