Welcome to Kenya. On arrival in Nairobi, after clearing customs and immigration, you are met by a representative of Wild Images Africa Safaris and transferred to Nairobi Hemingway’s Hotel. Hemingway’s Nairobi is a brand-new luxury boutique hotel located in the suburb of Karen featuring 45 suites overlooking the Ngong Hills.
The will be your easy day that you will get to see and enjoy Nairobi City as well as the Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Center.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your flight to Samburu National Reserve where your Professional Safari Guide will be waiting for you. Your safari will begin the moment you arrive as you enjoy your drive to Samburu Larsen’s Tented Camp, your bush home for the next three nights.
You will have two full days of morning and afternoon game drives to enjoy Samburu’s typical species, along with Samburu’s “special five,” named that because they only exist north of the equator: the reticulated giraffe, the long-necked gerenuk, Somali ostrich, Gravy’s zebra and Belsa Oryx. You will also enjoy a visit with native Samburu people in their village
After a morning game drive with a picnic breakfast, you will drive back to the camp for lunch and later on checkout and begin your drive to Mt. Kenya Safari Club, set in over 100 acres of landscaped gardens, offering a unique blend of comfort, relaxation and adventure.
After breakfast and checkout, you will begin your drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with a picnic lunch. After check in at Lion Hill Lodge, there will be an afternoon game drive through the park, which is also a sanctuary for the endangered rhino. Lake Nakuru has always been considered a pink lake or flamingo lake, par excellence. Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. Its location affords panoramic views of the lake and the picturesque Lake Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your private charter flight to the Masai Mara Olkiombo Airstrip where you will be met and transferred to Mara 1904’s Tented Camp, which will be your home over four nights.
We believe our private luxury camping safaris are the finest way to experience the magic of the African wilderness and these two whole days will be spent driving across limitless plains in search of abundant wildlife in one of Kenya’s most spectacular areas. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is the northern extension of the Greater Serengeti ecosystem. It is here that the great migration takes place, when more than a million wildebeest, along with zebra and gazelle trek north to graze on the Mara’s lush grasses.
After breakfast, you will begin your game drive as you head out to Olonana Tented Camp, which will be your home for the next three nights. You will check in for lunch and have some rest before the afternoon game drive.
There Olonana Tented Camp is an award-winning fourteen Tented Camp on a private stretch of the Mara River in the heart of Kenya’s most famous game reserve, the Masai Mara with hippo and croc’s in the river in front of your tent. You will have the opportunity to visit the local Maasai community village, take a Balloon safari or a walking Safari while still enjoying game drives. You will also have time to enjoy the spa and other luxurous amenities of Olonana Tented Camp.
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Wilson airport in Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi you will be transported to the Nairobi Hemingway’s Hotel for a day room and then you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.

At just a two hour drive from Nairobi, Sarova Lion Hill is one of only two lodges situated within the premises of the Lake Nakuru National Park. Deep within the northern Serengeti's prime wildlife area, Mara Under Canvas offers perfect luxury from which to witness the Great Migration and to explore the more remote corners of Tanzania's oldest and most famous National Park. The Olonana Tented Camp, also known as Sanctuary Olonana, is situated on a private stretch of the Mara River. The interior decor reflects a contemporary design using a combination of light earthy tones and traditional technique of “mudding” to complete the interior walls in all of the main areas and curio shop. From the main viewing deck see and hear the family of noisy hippos who colonise the river banks below the camp. Oversized Safari Tents – Built on the banks of the Mara River, the twelve canvas tents at Sanctuary Olonana are extremely comfortable and spacious.
